While the battle rages on over intelligent design and whether it can be taught in
public schools, the Bible is being used as the main textbook in a popular class at a big public school in
Long Beach, California. Here at Millikan High School, students put on Old Testament costumes and read
Scriptures as part of their elective "The Bible as Literature" class. Mr. Twal, a devout Christian and an
award-winning teacher, walks the very fine line between teaching and preaching.
