A boy armed with a hunting rifle takes hostages. Two teens develop an elaborate plan to kill hundreds with bombs and guns. Two gang members ask a man if they can use his cell phone — then stab him. These acts of school violence are even more disturbing when you know they happened at school.

On June 9th, KCTS Connects and The Learning Curve examine when insult turns to injury in our public schools. Reporter Jenny Cunningham explores the lasting legacy of the worst shooting in our state.
